5 Stunning Access Free Beaches In Dubai 🌊
Aaaah Dubai, the shiny gem of the United Arab Emirates. While mostly known for its futuristic skyline, and boundless desert dunes, we're going to uncover what's beneath the gleaming skyscrapers and extravagant malls of this mesmerizing city – its stunning beaches.
Whether you're a sun lover seeking the perfect tan, a water sports enthusiast craving adrenaline-pumping adventures, or a family in search of a relaxing day by the sea, Dubai's beaches have it all.
This guide will cover best free beaches in Dubai, some busy and some quiet. Grab your sunscreen, dust off your flip-flops, and get ready to discover some of the nicest beaches in the United Arab Emirates.
Secret Beach: Also known as Al Sufouh Beach, this hidden gem is less crowded and offers a tranquil escape. It's a bit off the beaten path, which means it's usually quieter and less crowded, making it ideal for those seeking solitude. The turquoise waters and Burj Al Arab views will win you over of that, I am sure! Just make sure you bring water and snacks as there aren't beach shacks or bars.
Kite Beach: Located near the Jumeirah area, Kite Beach is a favorite spot for water sports enthusiasts and families. You can find beach volleyball courts, skate parks, and various food stalls. It's a great place to relax and watch kite surfers in action. Weekdays are quieter while weekends are super busy. Regardless of when you decide to go, this beach guarantees a fun day whether you visit alone or with family and friends.
The Beach at JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residence): This lively beachfront area offers free access to the public. It features a promenade with numerous dining options, shops, and entertainment activities. It's a great place for a leisurely stroll along the waterfront. This one is personally not my favorite because it's always crowded, but it's super cool if you're a tourist or you have family and friends visiting Dubai.
La Mer: La Mer is a popular beachfront area in Dubai, known for its beautiful shoreline along the Arabian Gulf, and its vibrant hub is a mix of leisure, dining, shopping, and entertainment options, including beachfront restaurants, boutiques, and play areas for families. This might just be what you need for a change of scenery because it will indeed give you a feeling of not being in Dubai.
Mercato Beach: My all-time favorite beach in Dubai, but lesser known for tourists. It offers soft white sands, clear blue waters, and stunning views of the iconic Burj Khalifa. There are jogging tracks, picnic areas, and plenty of space for sunbathing. Please note, there are no food shacks around, so bring snacks and refreshments.
Which beach type do you prefer: quiet one or lively one? 🌊
